Shefa is a groundbreaking government-level Flutter application developed as part of Saudi Vision 2030, serving as one of Saudi Arabia's largest and most comprehensive donation platforms for the Ministry of Health Health Endowment Fund.
The platform was officially launched at the Global Health Forum 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was inaugurated by Advisor Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Qasim. This prestigious launch underscores the platform's significance in Saudi Arabia's healthcare transformation and its alignment with Vision 2030 objectives.
The platform addresses critical healthcare needs by connecting donors with medical cases requiring financial assistance. Built with Flutter and Dart, Shefa delivers a seamless cross-platform experience while maintaining the highest standards of security, accessibility, and user experience.
Key technical achievements include implementing complex payment gateways (HyperPay/OPPWA), integrating enterprise-level authentication, developing real-time notification systems, and creating location-based services for case discovery. The app also features advanced Islamic-compliant Zakat calculation tools, ensuring religious compliance for charitable donations.
The project demonstrates expertise in government-level application development, multi-language support with RTL layout, complex payment integrations, and building scalable systems that serve millions of users while maintaining data security and privacy standards.
